- Pay the academic deposit: Use the deposit slip mailed to you previously or pay online. The academic deposit reserves your place in the fall 2012 class and allows you to receive additional information such as housing and orientation. The academic deposit is refundable if you cancel your admission by May 1.
- Complete the FAFSA: If you need financial assistance, be sure to file your financial aid application – FAFSA – prior to the March 1 deadline.
- You should receive information about applying for housing approximately 2 weeks after you pay your academic deposit. All freshmen who are not residing with their immediate families while attending WVU are required to live in University housing. Students who are commuting from their home should still submit the housing application and indicate they will be commuting.
-
Register for orientation: Information will be mailed by middle to late March to all students who have paid the academic deposit.
- Review the admitted student timeline: Additional information for new students.
