Places to Study
It’s very important to set aside time every day to study. College classes cover a lot of material, and creating a study schedule is an important way to keep up. Here are a few places WVU students say they like to study:
- The Downtown Library: there are computers, places to hook up your own laptop, comfy chairs, a coffee shop, and tons of resources and materials. Group study rooms can be reserved.
- On the second floor of the Business and Economics Building
- Study rooms in the residence halls
- If you like studying outdoors, the WVU campus has plenty of options. Woodburn Circle, Core Arboretum, and the lawn in front of Stewart Hall are among the favorites.
- Elizabeth Moore Hall (E. Moore) on the downtown campus
- You can choose another library. There’s also the Evansdale Library, Math Library, and Health Sciences Library.
- Some students like to find a place in the Mountainlair to people-watch while they study.
- In the comfort of your own home; you can study how you want and adjust everything to your liking.
