Registering for Classes
At New Student Orientation you will register for your classes after discussing your options with an academic advisor.
Advising
The Undergraduate Academic Services Center (UASC) handles most undergraduate advising, and is located in the Student Services Center, next to the Mountainlair, on the downtown campus. The center provides academic advising to most pre-major and undecided (general studies) students.
The UASC serves over 7,000 students annually. Students see their advisor by appointment to select a major, plan a course of study, preregister for classes, and ask questions about their academic program. The UASC also sponsors Majors Information Day, where you can talk to representatives from each department. For more information, call 304-293-5805.
