-Take a tour of campus or attend an Open House
-See if you qualify for WVU Scholarships
-If necessary, retake your ACT or SAT

-WVU begins awarding scholarships
-Housing applications are accepted – you must pay the academic deposit to submit the housing application

December 1
Obtain your FAFSA on the Web Worksheet

January 1
-FAFSA submission available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
-Make sure your immunizations are up to date and submit the immunization form

February 1
-WVU scholarship consideration deadline
-Priority for WVU admission
-Housing assignments begin

March 1
-Financial aid application (FAFSA) priority deadline
-West Virginia residents – deadline for PROMISE Scholarship
-Academic deposit priority deadline

March – April
-Financial Aid award letters are mailed to admitted students
-New Student Orientation information is sent to those who have paid the academic deposit

April 15
-West Virginia residents – deadline for West Virginia Higher Education Grant

May 1
-Last day to receive a full refund on academic deposit
-Deadline to register for New Student Orientation

June
-Attend New Student Orientation; Submit final transcripts and/or immunization records

August
-Receive electronic bill for tuition, fees, and housing through your WVU MIX account
